Unreal Streaming Technologies is a privately held technology company formed in May 2003 with offices in Atlanta and Los Angeles, USA. Their research and development group consists of scientists and software engineers engaged in various aspects of multimedia processing technology.

For several years, Arnel had been working in partnership with UST to fully integrate their technologies into its Digital CCTV platforms. This has enabled Arnel’s clients to enjoy watching media streams of any or all of their estate of cameras with a relatively low bandwidth requirement.

This integration even allows users to review evidential archives of the same media streams giving unparalleled functionality to their clients.

The UST products focus on two elements "LiveServer" and "MediaServer". A restricted version of these software components may be downloaded freely from the UST web site. An exact overview of this technology may be obtained from http://www.umediaserver.net/umediaserver/overview.html

The latest breakthrough is the migration of the "LiveServer" element of the system to an embedded form in the UM100 & UM200 cameras and encoders. No longer is any form of PC required at the site where the cameras are installed. These are just the first in a series of products that will deliver this functionality.

To accompany the launch of these cameras, Arnel has manufactured the eVigilo IP32RR Remote Recorder. This Digital CCTV solution follows the family of eVigilo products and provides complete support and integration with the new LiveServer cameras and MediaServer. The system records the video streams directly from the embedded MediaServer included with the system and can also concurrently record streams from other systems from the eVigilo family connected to the Internet.

These cameras and encoder are offered for sale in the USA by Unreal Streaming and in Europe exclusively by Arnel. The eVigilo IP32RR will be available in the USA from Unreal Streaming Technologies.
