Today a major leap forward has been taken and the "Unreal LiveServer" has been embedded within a D1 camera and D1 video encoder. This breakthrough allows the deployment of High Resolution CCTV cameras at a location without the need for a local computer. The cameras can simply be attached to an ADSL router and they can stream their video on demand to remote Unreal MediaServer (full network security provided). Streams from these cameras start on demand saving bandwidth and allow users to view near real time the feeds of the installed camera base by simply using Window Media Player© without any additional codec’s! Arnel is now the exclusive European Distributor for these products.

To take full advantage of this breakthrough, the eVigilo^TM IP32RR Digital Video Recorder has been released. This product has its own Unreal MediaServer embedded and records live evidential footage from all video streams as though they were connected locally. The user can "mix and match" local and remote cameras and create a system that not only records his local location but also those remote sites that did not warrant a full CCTV installation. So simple to install, home users can record not only their homes but also their holiday homes, boats or even stables. All that is needed are simple ADSL (Broadband) connections. Use the internet as your video coax. When you are traveling you can even view your entire camera network by using a simple internet browser.
